Is that a trick question ?
Is that a trick question ?
If I were rich enough, then I'd certainly get one, but as I'm not, then I won't. Tbh, I would imagine most people rich enough would already have competitive solutions anyway, so this is either for people that have delayed an upgrade or are thinking of power consumption savings.
I love single GPU solutions, but I game at a bog-standard FullHD - most of the time, my PC is plugged to a 1920x1200 LCD, sometime I take it home for a weekend where it's plugged to a TV that is large physically but had a typical 1920x1080.
I currently have 660ti (overclocked) and most of the time I'm not even pushing it.
I think the only sensible use case at this price point is if you want to get into the GPU Compute thing or multi-monitor gaming...
No. And I don't know anyone else that would. I understand that for the best tech you have to spend money, but do they seriously consider this card to be affordable? I cannot even justify upgrading my Ati HD4850 at present.
It isn't worth the price...
I've got myself two EVGA GTX 670 FTW's, they did not cost as much as one titan and they still can beat it..
Truth be said I have two cards not one but on the good side is that if one of them fails I still have another..
Well I believe I'll pass Titan unless I get one somehow..
Surely once the hype settles down this will be remembered as the most laughably overpriced graphics card ever made?
seems a little overpriced , i dont think ill be upgrading untill the next series of gpus.
Hell no! I'd just get a second MSI GTX670 PE to SLI with my current one and beat it in performance for less money. This card is the equivalent to Richard Hammond and a big car (imho).
Wouldn't turn it down if I won it though![]()
Remembering that this current gen of GPU's was all out of sync - GK104 was meant to be the GTX660 and the GK110 was meant to be the GTX680, so it's always left a sour taste in the mouth when I look at the GTX680 card and then the price and then realise that its' a mid range GPU with a high-end badge on it.
Titan is actually the true (but also very late to the party) GTX680 and £800 is too much to pay for a GPU, the performance increase over my GTX570 is enough to make me want one though.... but in terms of games etc, it's not essential to be replaced.
Right now I'd rather spend that sort of money on a new LED TV, soundbar and fancy new TV stand - At least that way I can see what my money has been spent on
The only 'rumours' I've read about the 7-series GPU's from Nvidia is that it's unlikely to be released until end of year at he earliest, so I hope Titan's price drops below £400 in a few months when the stock's not moved from the shelves.

I would if I had the money for it because I think it will still be a great card in a few years but I'm going to stick with my HD6990 that I got from my uncle for $200![]()
lol no, I'm not bending over to take it lube free from Nvidia, crazy, stupid price.
Erm, nope..... are you buying one?
First, I'm not paying that for any graphics card. Well, maybe if Bill Gates decided he was bored with being rich and gave me his entire fortune, and I was looking for things to spend stupid amounts of money on.
But then, with the state of DRM, and Steam dominance, I'm to all practical purposes an ex-gamer, at least on PC, so even if Bill Gates so divested himself of his wampum, I still wouldn't spend that on a graphics card.
To be honest, even if some wonderful, delightful forum were to organise a competition to win one, I wouldn't bother to enter.
If it was better at bitcoin mining. Maybe. For games, No, I doubt I'd notice it if I had one.
No thanks - I'll stick with my 7850 :-)
I wouldnt bother buying this card, although it has good performance it is very expensive and my eye is always on the <£200 mark so 7950 is my top card of choice atm. However I would like to mention a key detail, micro-stutter surely is nonexistent with this card and yet it does perform well. I had a gtx460 and then I added a second one, even though my fps doubled (mostly) the micro-stutter introduced by this setup made it feel worse than a single card which is unfortunate and that is why dual card setups are now off the table for me until this is negated, im one of the unlucky few who notice
.
If I won the lottery I would still get the 7950(maybe a 7970/680) then just keep the money saved(£500) and use that to upgrade in 2 years for essentially free haha. If I win that competition I would over the moon just by the fact this 460 can finally retire lol.
