Would be nice to have one with an AMD APU.
Will need more than 45W worth of heatsink though!

equip one with a ULV Xeon, cluster them all. Mini Servers...

The cost of the CPU need not be much... forget about Core i3 etc, Pentiums and Celerons are plenty good enough and keep the cost down (and blow Atoms out of the water). However i wonder if the chipset / mobo to allow for this increases costs?

Except Pentiums and Celerons miss a lot of the media playback GPU features so pants if you wanted it for HTPC duties.
I'd me more concerned about how noisy it is, 45W is a lot in a small box with a tiny cooler. Other Zotac boxes I've seen with lower TDP CPUs weren't what I'd call quiet.

I would like something like this with Core i5 ULV to keep temperature down, on ext GPU, but with BT 4 LE & WiFi on 1 mSATA slot, a 2nd mSATA slot for SSD cache
