Looks like another innovative idea that's heading towards an ideal for home entertainment, having a single "home server" device, and connected mini interface devices, which are also capable of working in their own right.
It's a little unusual that the tablet isn't running Windows RT though, or that the base unit isn't running ChromeOS, I would have thought having the shared core basis would have made the transition cleaner
