Its a shame that it runs Amazons dodgy skin and app store IMO. Whenever i play around with one in a shop i always just think, WHY?!

Perhaps that's just because im so used to Androids standard 'Play Store' but it just doesnt do it for me.

My dad is after a new tablet at the moment, if it wasn't for the need to root this for normal android (hes a fan of normal android aswell) i would tell him to go for it.

I like the resolution but the limitation of not having Google Play is reason I'll avoid this and because I do not want to pay twice for every app I've bought, having multiple eco-system is getting really annoying especially when it's using almost the same android architecture

free apps on google play magically become paid for on amazon.... and books my wife bought on google were deleted on her kindle fire hd
