I would definitely caution to wait thou, if the S3 drops nicely in price. As is I just think the Nexus 4 is such a good buy, will this S4 be twice as good? Or just twice as expensive!

I'll second this GoNz0 - the S3 is still a darned good device, and it's pretty obvious that it'll drop to midrange prices once the S4 is out there. What about the S3 Mini - I've heard mixed reviews, with some saying that it IS the S3 for the folks that don't like the "normal" S3's bulk, others saying that it's not really a suitable device for the "S3" moniker.

PS thanks for the info about the S2 updates - thought that'd was on it's last update.

S3 mini is as good as the S2, may see what the S3 prices are when the s4 is mainstream as £500 takes the pee.

Yeah I think we are definately in to decreasing return between phone itterations for the time being!

I doubt this will change short of much better perphireal integration (ie Cameras, please nokia make a good 808), or full blown its a computer when you attach a keyboard + mouse + monitors.

Until then, if they think I'll be spending £500 every 18 months they're mistaken!
