Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Yes, though why they didn't just make a Note III they're almost the same size now![]()
I will in October when my SII contract is up.
Not for me, have gone with a HTC One, which will be with me on TuesdayI have nothing against the design of it, personally, I didnt mind the plastic feel of the S3. Felt good in the hand. Where I turn away from Samsung is with Touchwiz, I have never got used to the look and feel of it, and prefer Sense (Though I prefer stock Holo over them all). In fairness, they have tried to cram a lot of SW features in, but none that I would find genuinely useful to stop me getting a One. I would imagine it being a strech for S3 users to get one, though I think its got to be tempting for S2 owners...
I have a dumb tracfone for phone, and a TF700 for everything you would do on a smartphone. I just like the screen space and don't like paying buttloads of money for what should just be over the internet anyway.
I'm considering it; it will be my first smartphone, indeed my first mobile for a few years.
It's irritating that some things I want to register for, require a mobile phone number.
I'll be waiting to see if the camera will be good enough for my needs, if so then it's almost certain I'll be buying.
Yes, my Galaxy Ace needs a substitute.
love to but my contract expires in another 18 months
no im looking at getting a Sony Xperia Z, which looks a lot better and one of my friends has got one and says its fantastic
Have only had my Xperia S for a year now, but I suspect it's days are numbered just depends on how much Orange / EE want for it really.
I'm happy to wait for the prices to calm down a bit.
The guy looking at the Xperia Z, Sony promise a lot and deliver oh so little.
The fact the xs is still only running 4.0.4 and the xz only launched with 4.1 says it all.
No S4 for me - not enough of an improvement for me to take the hit trading in my (SIM free!) S3, plus the S3 isn't annoying me in any way.
Now the S5 on the other hand, might be worth a pre-order... LOL
I'm absolutely smitten with my Note II so the S4 doesn't interest me, it's not enough of a step change from the S3/Note II.
If I'd still had my S2 when this became available I would probably have been interested for sure, or would have waited for the Note III (S Pen has saved my sanity for scribbling things down before I forget them, I swear my memory is getting...err.... what was I saying again?)
i like the htc one. i wont buy on launch though...
Bought my Xperia Z direct from Sony UK, running 4.1.2, absolutely fantastic, stunning screen and it came with £200-£300 headphones. Can't go wrong with that. Have no complaints about it whatsoever and I'm extremely picky. Sony have already promised a 4.2 release. I know they don't have a good track record on that, but this time seems different. They are really pushing this phone.

Maybe, depends on the battery life.
I don't know why companies make all these slim smart phones where the battery life lasts less than a day. I want a smart phone I can use for a whole day and not have to worry about my damn battery dying.
Note 2 looks like the one to get at the moment. Perhaps a Note 3 by the time by contract is up for renewal in October.
I don't like the design much, less plasticky and a little less rounded would appeal to me more, but the pretty thin bezel for screen is nice, thank god they actually released this one in black and not some disgusting blue, blue is my favourite colour, but on a phone no..just no..
Shame I dislike the design really because spec-wise it looks great, completely and utterly overkill of course, but nonetheless I shan't complain.
