It's a reference 670 with a cooler to match. Hardly much work on the part of Asus to get this up and running, I see no need for a price premium, 670's are already overpriced for what they are.

I can't see the point of this really. Most ITX cases which accept full-height cards are the 'shoe-box' variety, which tend to cater for full length cards anyway. It'd be more interesting if it were single-slot as cheesyboy mentions, or even half-height...

one 8-pin connector carries the same current as two six-pin, so that's not actually an amazing feat ;) OTOH, it does indicate that they've done some work with the card, and it makes sense in a small case, as it's less wires to clutter up the airflow. Doing some comparisons of the back of the stock card with this one, they've tweaked a few things here and there, but overall it does appear to be pretty much the same size as the stock PCB, so they've not had a huge amount to do.Quote:

It will be interesting to see how efficient the cooler is compared to the full-length DirectCU 670, which is what I have. Somehow I doubt it will be anything like as good, although I suppose overclocking ITX systems (where the card is most likely to find a home) isn't all that common?Quote:
