Actually I remember reading a short sci-fi story where the "black hats" did exactly that - they sold the west dirt cheap power packs then held them/us to ransom by threatening to explode clusters of them.

Didn't sony do that to all the other laptop manufacturers recently ?

Imagine if it were a live hand grenade with the pin out. Or a poisonous jellyfish. Neither of those should go in your pocket either.

Funny how we routinely handle explosive flammable carcinogenic petrol and diesel and breathe their fumes / exhaust
yet mention anything nuclear (a too-wide term) and people think bomb.
