Still can't update or install new apps on my Windows 8 since launch due to some bug Microsoft still haven't fixed. Not that I care at this stage, I've used some third party software to remove it and put a normal start menu back. Never saw the point of the Metro screen unless you had a tablet and even then, the app store is so bare it's pretty worthless anyway. Microsoft have lost the plot imo, they've gotten too eccentric and run away with the faeries.

Come on Google. Ditch Chrome OS and develop a real Desktop OS. The opportunity is ripe while Microsoft have run out of ideas.
