    Papers would have to dramatically improve their content for me to pay for it. Employing some actual journalists to do actual journalism would be nice, rather than the glorified copywriters and bloviating quasi-celebrities that current waste your time.

    I won't be paying to read any of these rags. I can get my daily football dosage (I know...) from other sources, and can read the BBC news site/Guardian for *actual* news that isn't hidden behind Kerry Katona.

    In fairness though, you can't blame them for doing this. There are sites like journal.ie who make their money by consolidating stories from other sources. They (journal) do little or nothing yet cream up profits on the back of the hard work of others. Same with google really, consolidating stories created by others and using those to serve their adverts on, not exactly fair play.

    Not that I read any of them mentioned but the point still stands.
