Was interested in this, then LOL.

Also not really sure Java is the most natural teaching language, objects, scoping and explicit parentheses are not what I'd teach first to children.

While it's a nice looking 3D game, there's a game on Linux called Laby (I have less than 5 posts so not allowed to post links, search "laby debian" for reference) where the goal is to move an ant on around the maze area and move objects and not get killed and such. It was fairly fun as a beginner, not as complex as what this CodeSpells looks like obviously.

This is a really old idea with a new spin.

Assassin's Creed taught me to make a clean kill and hide the body. Grand Theft Auto taught me how to escape.
