That was the problem I found with NFS Most Wanted, half the cars or more you had to purchase, it got kinda ridiculous in the end that nearly every car that looked cool was one I had to buy, so I didn't bother and just play the single player every now and again

Last time I played ridge racer it had the white angel in it that would sit at the side of the road and wait on you. You had to beat it to win it.
If you haven't played it, you will not know what I am talking about.
