Not really thought about loyalty or why I go with them but I buy XFX. I definitely would never get a PNY though after the Ti4200 farce, even if they have sorted themselves out in the last 10 years.
Haven't had an Nvidia card since my 8800GT, which was a BFG. I never had any problems with them, sadly gone now though.
For AMD cards I prefer HIS for their coolers but I've never had any problems with any of the partners.
...as an NVidia fanboy, I cannot comment, or be trusted to comment on any AMD partner cards, however as far as NVidia;
I've owned GTX 470s, 480s 580s & 680s manufactured by Zotac, Inno3D, ASUS, Gigabyte & EVGA (in no particular order). Though I have had no issues with any of the cards, I was absolutely drooling at the prospect of owning an EVGA (which have not been easily available in Australia for me until recently)...and I was not disappointed!!!
The software bundle, presentation & packaging feels suitably premium to justify the additional cost they seem to attract...also, as an avid watercooler, it's nice to be able to get cards with a special made water block (which can either be bought separately or pre-installed...assuming you can find one!)!
I've only owned 2 cards so far, the first was an XFX 8800GTX, which died well out of warranty after about 5 years. The card I have now is EVGA, which I mainly chose for the warranty, as I need my computer to last as long as possible. But a small charge for a 10 year warranty seems pretty decent.
I would definitely recommend EVGA if going green. Not just for the warranty, but everything else too![]()
I had a few Sapphire cards in the past 5-6 years (from HD 3000 to day) and never had a problem so they are my favorite.
Also one Diamond Multimedia 5870, it was great too.
I also had a lot of Asus and GByte hardware but never had video card. But I trust their brands to.
Double post. I'm sorry.
EVGA. I was also very impressed with my old BFG 8800 GTS. As I understand it, it's still churning away in a friend's computer. If they were still in business I would have went with them over EVGA, but I'm still very happy with my GTX 460 in hindsight.
Most graphics cards are reference - I thought that this meant that they were physically manufactured by NVidia, but re-badged by partners. Is that not correct?
Trust most apart from XFX, had problems with both a 6600GT and HD5850, but I'm quite forgiving so I'd probably go back to them or MSI if I can go ATI again.
I go with EVGA now, purely for the step-up program and decent enough warranties. I don't think they're significantly better than the rest, just quite like their general ethos.
Never had any specific problems. Therefore I tend to go by reviews and price, when I'm buying.
Asus and msi for Nvidia, Asus Msi and sapphire for ati. The Others are ok by and large but those three are the best imo.
Definitely Sapphire. Their cards are usually extra quiet and run cool. That said, I wouldn't ignore other brands by any means, but where I can afford a quieter card from Sapphire, I would. Not that I've encountered much that my modified 6950 can't handle yet at 1920x1200. Then again, the games I play don't tend to be bleeding-edge DX11 FPS games.
During my whole life the only ones I had were MSI AMDs, everything seems to be fine to today.
My fav is EVGA i also like MSI & ASUS but i had a little problem with asus Graphic card but was solve at the end i only had 1 problem with GPU well sometimes update problems but that is not the hardware so i like this 3 100% now its been 5 years i guess, EVGA 60% / MSI 20% or ASUS 20%.
