They just don't make them like they used too. To me a joystick isn't a joystick unless it has been tested to destruction on Daley Thompson Decathlon.
If it can survive Daley then it can survive anything.

The poster starts off well at the top with variety, but the bottom is a bit bland - why list almost identical nintendo DS variants ?

I remember the joystick. I remember those C64 games that you had to waggle the joystick to make the character move. Those where the days, and many broken joysticks.
