Eh, it looks almost identical to my THL W8, well the front anyway.
^^ pic above.
I bought that a few months ago direct from their factory in China, took 4 days to deliver to Ireland. Cost me 220 Euro at the time, inc 32Gb SD card, courier costs and insurance.
Debating if I should get a HTC One/GS4 (probably the One) or wait for this.
I hope there'll be an active (water/dust proof) version of this and where is the note 10.1 2 or similar. My dad wants a tab and loves the screen on my Nexus 10, Samsung must be working on a new note tab with screen awesomeness.
I just need this to be announced and released in time for my upgrade, due end of October, to replace my original Galaxy Note.
If that really is it... I think Samsung have gone one step too far size wise for me.
Looks a good 5 to 8mm bigger in each dimension.
I loved my Note 1, loving my current Note 2.... but any bigger and even my baggy jeans will fail to cope.
Current Note 2 size is about as big as I want to push it as even with big pockets in baggy jeans, driving can be a bit uncomfortable without first removing phone.
Just too big.
Glad it's not just me..... was worried I'd be pulled for being some sissy or summin for having pockets that can't accomodate a 6 inch phone.... Sorry, but I have other things in my trousers that needs room too
If only they could use the Note 2 dimensions, and stretch the screen as big as they could within those dimensions and up the resolution to 1080p... oh, and a nice case for the phone like the Xperia Z or the HTC One... then I would no questions asked upgrade.
As it is based on this picture, I'll either keep my Note 2 or downgrade to a S4.

aww man - I cancelled my S4 pre-order pending this and tbh I'm dissapointed. I actually expected a YUOM display (you know curved at the edge or something!) - or am I asking too much? :<
The Note 2 is a perfect design for what its purpose is. They should have really stuck with it, improved the camera, CPU/GPU and screen, battery etc etc and left the actual design/size alone.
I think that the design of this Note 3 will steer people away to the S4 or note 2.
Asking too much.
Want. I was hoping the Note 3 would be Mega sized, but 6 inches is still good. I ain't hung up on all this size issue. Big is beautiful. Glad it's full HD too. It needs to be, with a screen that size (the Mega should be full HD too, though it is cheaper i guess).
What the Note needs now is a much firmer chassis, a good quality metal frame.
I'm pretty sure that was ripped from the SGS3 design ;-)
There will ALWAYS be something to wait for, smartphones especially. Unless the release of something better is next week with 100% availability then just buy what's best right now, use until it annoys, breaks or makes you look like a luddite...
why do Samsung always disappoint with their low-spec Tab devices, even the Note 8.0 was a bit lackluster. Not everyone wants a smartphone/phablet form-factor, which seem to be the focus of all the latest tech.
i think 5 inch is the best to do anything..my girlfriend would say 10 as she is candy crushing all day
