How big is the premium motherboard market? It can't be worth one manufacture to release different brands into this segment and then have to compete with other brands premium boards. Seems like a pointless idea.
Although, does look damn nice. Bling
I'll agree, they do look good. Never a fan of gold, but I do like this board
It looks awwwesome. And expensive.
I can not wait to see some real Haswell tests and performance.
What PC case is that?
Not entirely convinced by the shininess of this board, although it does look ... distinctive.
One thing that's puzzled me is why board makers bother with this kind of "bling". Even if you've got a windowed case then it's not as if the average PC's innards are particularly pretty.
If Asus can do a non-bling edition then I'll be tempted.
You'd be surprised how many people go for the premium boards. Asus's P8Z77-V Premium was sold out last year at Newegg, Mwave, and Superbiiz for some time. I managed to snag two of them from Superbiiz before they sold out for my PC upgrades (not that I needed to spend that kind of cash mind you but I really liked the board).
The black and gold finish says bling like no other but this is just the Deluxe model; I'm sure Asus will follow it up with an official Premium unit.
♫ Gold, alwaaaays beleeeeive in gold ♫♫
meh i'm waiting for the msi and evga boards
i would prefer blue to be honest...
My Asrock z77 extreme 4 is black and gold, Asus copying its divorced child?

Biostar it is then, sadly the girl isn't included.
