Never played Borderlands (1/2) - is it any good (esp campaign).

And secondly, is it just me or does "Tiny Tina" sound very much like Lori Petty in "Tank Girl" persona?

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Wonder if it will send you into the board game like in one of the Fable games

Ah yes, the old "inadvertent" leak.

    They never intended that. No.

Re: News - Next Borderlands 2 DLC to have a Dungeons & Dragons flavour

I didn't play first one, but I'm about through the seconds default game content. Still got all the expansions to go. I'm happy with the £10 that I paid for the game and a further £10 for the season pass but I wouldn't pay more for it.

The games ok, it drags at points BUT tiny Tina is a hoot. I liked the missions that she gives in the game so I'm looking forward to this expansion

Re: News - Next Borderlands 2 DLC to have a Dungeons & Dragons flavour

I played Borderlands, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, a little of Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, not very much of The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It was a generic Unreal Tournament type of thing. It was fun, but only really as a single player imho.

I wasn't even bothered enough to try Claptrap's New Robot Revolution or Borderlands 2.
This seems like Borderlands attempt at "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon" to me.

I've played the first Borderlands and found it rather boring. It was playable as co-op, as it gave me incentive to continue, but as far as having any real depth to it, it is quite weak.

BL2 comes into it's own as a super fun co-op style game. Get a friend (or 2/3) and a character you save for co-op and it becomes immensely fun.

Yes, a bit repetitive, but no more than any other FPS. It's at least got a style of it's own and about as much humour as they could shoe-horn into the thing. The season pass adds about... 40 hours of extra content... worth it in my book.
