And then we look at COST

ARM A15 can do all the same , but for about £1000 LESS. and use LESS power.

    Except that isn't true...

A15 is nowhere near a Core i series no matter how high you clock it, they are a completely different market class and that's as it should be.

Clover Trail+ Atom is in reality quite competitive with chips in a similar bracket which is quite impressive considering the actual core tech of it is 4-5 years old. The next-gen Silvermont Atoms could well be rather excellent and an A15 can of course do similar things (you know, them both being a CPU and all) but it'll most likely be slower in max-out terms and at equal TDP, the price delta is nowhere near £1000 (WTF) and total/max power usage is very dependent on configuration for any chip.

This old idea that x86 can't go low power and Intel chips eat Watts like they're free from the ether is a totally outdated one and needs to be put to sleep. Incidentally no reason AMD couldn't go low power as well other than R&D budget, it'd be nice to see them really seriously try for at least the budget Windows tablet market.

Except it is - Intel are `bullish` and trying for the tablet market - which is where A15 rules.

Intel are playing catch-up , no matter which way you want to spin it they are behind by a lot here - atom is about 5w over where A14 is right now. which is a fail for intel.
