The bubbly Mobile Geeks presenter told us that the tablets on show at Mozilla’s booth were for eyes only and were not to be prodded or tried out by Computex attendees.
Preferring dolphin at the moment on my tablet
Maybe they could focus on making their core offering better, firefox has had its assed kicked the last few years, needs to up its game, stop leaking, be more secure.......
Instead they are working on an OS! Busily fighting with Ubuntu for irrelevance in these mobile spaces.
hmm, i would be using firefox to browse on my phone....if it would have let met. This application is not compatible with your device!
Im more interested in Ubuntu as this is already an established OS
Don't really have an interest in this and I don't really know why they are bothering. They should of focused more on the software (releasing good browsers for Android & iOS) and maybe tried to take a bit of the XDA-Dev community by releasing the OS as a for rooted devices.
But of course thats my 2p, I'm sure they did their market research and saw a space for themselves.
^ agreed.
Chrome OS has much more of an ecosystem aroudn it and is still a failure. Why would Firefox OS work at all?
