I want more info on the thunderbolt enclosure! Looks like a really interesting product, and exactly what I've been waiting for ever since thunderbolt was first announced

I'm interested in this too, would like to have additional GPU power for my mac mini

Nice, more ITX loveliness. I guess 2013 is the year of the ITX gamer.
Re: SilverStone dabbles with external graphics and storage-heavy mini-ITX
External graphics is already here - My T420 is regularly hooked up to a (watercooled) GTX560ti448 in a mini-itx case via expresscard. Amazingly PCIe 2.0 x1 is quite sufficient!
But I won't say no to SilverStone and others making Thunderbolt a worthy upgrade for my next laptop. Just have to wait til the prices of anything Thunderbolt gets more sensible.

I think that idea is great. Wonder how much it will be.

The last case under the Raven branding is really interesting in my eyes. Very similar to the Alienware X51 series, can't wait for more info on it.
The external graphics enclosure looks really big considering what it is but I do like the design of it.

I am also very interested in the raven, the x51 was interesting, but too limited.
The possibility of a dual 120mm rad in the raven however, being such a slim case opens up the possibilities to build a true beast in such a slim profile. The power supply should also be the same one used in SUGO's, a fairly efficient 450W silverstone strider SFX PSU.
Would most likely be bundled with the power supply since there is little to no alternatives at that size with that much power, so looking like it may be priced at about 130 to 160ish depending on whether the PSU is modular or not.
Would very much like to see a size comparison with the likes of the x51, a mid tower case and some consoles just for the fun of it.

Is it just me, or does that Raven seem to have no space for Hard Drives.
With the Rad in there, the GFX card, and the SFX power supply, i cant see where HDDs would fit ?

Look carefully behind the GPU, 2 sets of risers for 2.5" drives, and another space for a 3.5" on top of the PSU? Just guessing though.

Really like the first case, be interesting to see the price on that when it comes out
Re: SilverStone dabbles with external graphics and storage-heavy mini-ITX
About goddam time! (thunderbolt case). Still looking to have something a BIT more interesting (like - why not add the bridge circuit to add 3x USB3, a couple of sata ports with space for drives and a gigabit network port to that box? You have an all in 1 dock). Personally I'd like to get hold of the thunderbolt to PCIe electronics and add to it from there.

I like the cases too. I must admit I do admire the way Tony conduct his affairs by reaching out to the enthusiasts. A top bloke and a top company.
Re: SilverStone dabbles with external graphics and storage-heavy mini-ITX
I will buy the raven one, exactly what I've been looking for
Re: SilverStone dabbles with external graphics and storage-heavy mini-ITX
