They seem to be running a lot of hardware on a battery pack I can hardly see, rather sceptical on what the battery life on this is gonna be like. Otherwise nice concept.

Platform shoes with battery packs in the soles, you can see the cable running down in the title picture of the video

I think its a good idea. Just need to make sure its as reliable as a modern controller otherwise it will fail.

This has been done before a number of years ago and never sold. I don't think there is a market for this at all.

I agree, this is something I wouldn't buy, no matter how low the price. I look enough of a gimp as it is hunched over a keyboard!

Re: News - Feel the impact with the ARAIG force feedback exoskeleton

Maybe I'm just a nerd, but I quite like this idea - especially the extra dimension that it might bring to FPS games. Although presumably a BF5 session will leave you looking like you've been paintballing?

I can't see it being a goer for the typical "hunched over a keyboard" (hi Shirty101!) PC gimp/geek, but for XBox/PS4 console gamers where you're standing up and moving around it could be an extra dimension.

US$325 ex VAT and delivery though is a bit rich for my taste - having just spent 200+ bucks on MyIDKey on Kickstarter.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Life is almost complete, shame I have no money for this stuff!

    Oculus for the heads up
Leap motion for hands free controlering or a kinect
    This for all the feedback

<£1000 for a full sensory overload haha, epic!.

The amount of bullets I tend to attract while playing CS or Modern Warfare means I may as well play while sitting ontop of the washing machine during peak cycle instead of buying this...A damn sight cheaper too.

I like the idea though, as I did when it was first floated all them years ago with the "Rumble Vest".

Interesting concept but I guarantee most people are pussies and would dare use it.

Peripheral manufacturers have a hard enough time catering to different sized hands, and these guys want to tackle an entire torso?

Re: News - Feel the impact with the ARAIG force feedback exoskeleton

well of course they're asking for our support to buy one for each. even if you have seen things that needs to be changed or have to be developed we need to support them.

    support=Continuous development of their product.

no support = no growth and development.
