Yep, it's the same stuff as used in IB. People "de-lidding" and using coollaboratory liquid pro and then replacing the lid are reporting much lower temps.
A 3770K at 5Ghz is getting roughly the same benchmarks as a 4770K at 4.5Ghz (on air).
