No....I went with Plusnet. Cheaper, I believe better service and BT Sport is nothing more than ok!
I'm only tempted due to the live UFC events, but need more info...
Fair play to BT for actually making an effort to put up some competition to BSKYB.
The new BT sport channels actually look decent enough.
Football is a demotivating factor for me sadly.
Current specs:
CPU: Intel i5 3570k Overclocked @ 4.6Ghz GPU: MSI Twin Frozr 7850 @ 1000Mhz Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z77X-D3H
Plusnet is a BT subsidiary
It's persuaded me to consider it for my next ISP, certainly. No way I would have done before, so I guess that's a win of sorts for BT!
Anything that breaks down barriers to watching live football is a good thing in my book - Sky Sports is ludicrously over-priced and has been for years.

Moving next month and will be getting infinity 2. I like football so the bt sports is a bonus!

Not a footy fan, so it does nothing for me.
Free footy hasn't even convinced me to watch footy. If BT offered me free Broadband on condition I watch the footy, my answer would be no. I'd rather pay for the broadband and not have to watch the footy.
In fact, if the only way I could get broadband was if I had to watch footy, I'd give up broadband.
About the only thing on TV I like less than footy is adverts, and even that's a close run thing.
In case I'm not clear, not a footy fan.![]()

We have just got rid of Sky, their Fiber is atrocious even though it is via BT's network, paying £20 per month just for the broadband alone and we are supposed to get 40Mb, lucky if we get 20 at the best of times.
So contacted BT and we have got Vision with essential extra channels (Discovery, GOLD, FOX, History, Comedy Central and more which are live channels so same as Sky, basically the stuff we watch on Sky), free BT Sport, Infinity 2 which is going to give us 72Mb and unlimited calls which additionally gives us unlimited 0845 and 0870 calls.
Sky was costing us around £80 per month for basic TV package with HD, calls & broadband. Not forgetting Sky are upping their prices again come September.
This new package from BT is costing us £55 per month so a much better deal.
The Vision box turned up today so set it up and we have freeview and catch up presently and can use live pause and record. The broadband and essential extra package goes live on Tuesday 25th so will be able to get the extra channels then as they stream over broadband, you have to have Infinity to get the extra channels. We only got the sport added as its completely free, not a footy fan at all but my son will probably watch it, if I let him of course as its like pulling teeth.
I'm a football fan, but very much anti BT broadband after past experiences, so not for love nor money. It may have changed since I left, but it'll take some convincing after the patronising phone conversations I had to put up with.

I didn't switch for it but it was a nice surprise when they announced it. Its just a shame that the BT Home Hub 3 is so awful.
With Balding and Humphreys at the helm?
Nope.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
