Give them credit for trying someyhing different though, and atleast they cut the price. If i had the pc i wanted already, i would buy this as an added "toy" however as it is,still out of my price range for such an extra.
IMHO it looks like an antique from the 80's or 90's let alone a 21st century game console. Looks at its rivals and they look so much cleaner and sleeker than this.

AMD's CPU stagnation has shown us how important good competition is in any field. So I find myself hoping that the Shield isn't to Nvidia what the uDraw was to THQ... symptomatic of some rather 'strange' thinking at the top.
But then I have a very long history of being wrong on everything from whether Borg should beat McEnroe, to the current price of gold, so this might be a good opportunity to buy Nvidia shares and anticipate a Shield-dominated future. :-)
this needs to launch in the uk so badly want this and i think there are missing out on good business.
im not to sure .I give them credit for trying this but im not one to judge to quickly.
i like the idea of this handheld console, its is going to look very wired but the way i see it this is the first gen so who know maybe it will take off and then we will see a better one in the future
