That is just silly amounts of money they are making!
Well they did badly out of me this year. Last year I bought an S3 and a Note 10.1 - and very happy with both.. So far this year, I've avoided a (pointless) upgrade to the S4 and there's no new Note 2 10.1 to shift to.
Daughter upgraded (her words) from a low end Galaxy Mini 2 smartphone to an HTC 8S, and wife will be upgrading shortly and it's unlikely that Samsung will get that business too, (although she did say that an S3 mini was "okay").
Samsung seem to be able - at the moment at least - to be able to generate some pretty good products, which I'm sure accounts for the increased sales and profits. Just wish - especially in smartphones - that there was more in the way of serious competition (come on Nokia!!)
Aye sold more than the next four companies combined...though to be fair, everytime I've looked into phones Samsung is always mentioned first!
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
It is because samsung have a huge variety of phones...... From low 2 high profile phones
