The government seem to have completely missed the point that while Esotericism itself may include groups such as Freemasons, Kabbalists, Theosophists, and people from the Western Magical Tradition, and may chiefly be concerned with the exegesis, inner meanings and symbolism of various philosophical, historical and religious texts, that some of these texts are also used by mainstream religion - so 'Esoteric Material' intrinsically includes the Bible and the Torah!
