I can see most Apple owners being classy enough to want this.

Can't wait for the amazing amount of new cases etc. to make it look like you have the high end model...

By far not impressed by the fingerprint sensor 'security' button, from personal experience, done cut on your finger will lock you out for a week. and good help you, if like me, you end up with a hefty scar. Therefore I assume the fingerprint unlocking will be optional, or backed up by a security question, MAKING IT NO MORE SECURE THAN A PASSWORD...
Also a gold case just means that your already overly valuable, overpriced phone will be even more of an expense to loose or worse, have stolen. This just seems to be a collection of bad ideas
Fingerprint locks are foolish anyway, seeing as you leave your 'password' on every single thing you touch. It's one of those things people see on telly and think is a great idea.
Biometrics I've used normally involve enrolling all fingers, and having a horrifically long backup password.
They save a lot of time, but for anything secure should be accompanied buy a password too.
However, it's great to see that Apple have caught up with my smartphone I had in 2006.

Not sure about the champagne gold if I must be honest.
The 5C looks pretty cool though, I like the colors.
Either way I'll be giving these a miss
Yick. I hate gold and gold coloured things. Not like Apple to drop the design ball.

The chavviest ****e I've ever seen.
Gold one looks very tacky, colour ones seem like a good idea though, and it'll be interesting to see this up against the new Motorola phones. To jump to their defence though, what exactly are people expecting - evolution is pretty much all that's left for everyone ... at least until someone perfects full colour holographic displays.
Can't decide whether you're being sarcastic or not...
The gold reminds me of when they had a load of handbag designers do versions of the razr v3. Not that fond of it myself. Plastic looks a bit cheap, but be good if the OS is still as nice even on budget hardware.
I don't see the cheaper variant going anywhere as the price premium for Apple's devices would need to out do Nokia or Android under £200 phones. If the 5C iPhones are trying to take on the minis from HTC and Sony then the plastic is super silly. They should have kept the glass backs with the many colours.
I kinda like the champagne finish on the iPhone 5S, would love to have the xperia z ultra in this finish.
who cares ---- just bring the phone out so we can all see the new iOS. cause this will make it or break it for Apple
Indeed will be interesting to see how much of the 'slavish' copy of ice cream sandwich remains. As they weren't fooling many people with it's new and 'unique' features.
A plastic iphone after all the mocking of samsungs plastic phones ...
I hope for there sake that the gold colour isn't the only choice, they wouldn't be that foolish surely ?
