That picture is awful but other pictures I have seen of the ultrabook, it is gorgeous. I won't be touching their Transformer range again though, they use terribly slow I/O chips and it makes even running the operating system laggy. But the ultrabook sure looks tempting as long as its a decent price.

The video for the new laptop makes it look stunning, and I might well be in the market for a new high end ultrabook soon. But TBH they haven't mentioned any of the features I'll really be wanting yet. What's the max RAM I can get in it, how much SSD space, can I leave an SD card in it etc.

I wonder what the HD8180 would be like playing games, even at low settings?

I'm more interested in how well does the Iris graphics stacks up against other integrated graphics

'Also any such scratches are 40 per cent less visible' - lol I'd love to see how they measure that. Gotta love meaningless stats :)

Asus build some of the best looking notebooks out there, but why do we not see AMD notebooks with a full range of apu's that are available, its always one or two from most manufactures other that HP and they just dont do it for me. is the legacy of Intel back handers still at work.
