You know, I'm sure I've seen that somewhere before ... now what OS has a notifications page that you can access by swiping down....?Quote:
Using a simple swipe down, again from any screen, iOS 7 users can access the new Notification Centre.
Not the one that they copied all the style and design of :(
Wonder how many days until a lawsuit is started regarding iOS7...
enterprising student, at the front of the queue in Regent Street, is expecting to be offered a four figure sum for his place later in the week.
LOL dam I knew i should have done that!
What, not even Hitler? Reality TV? :D
I used to be an Apple hater, a dyed in the wool detester. Then, mostly by accident, I went into an Apple Store and had a mess around on an iPad whilst I waited (and waited) for my other half to buy shoes. I got an iPad a few days later, then I built a Hackintosh and that got me into OS X.
I now have quite a bit of Apple kit (I'm typing this on a mid-2011 MacBook Air) which is lying next to my Nexus 7 (1st gen, running Jelly Bean.) I've been using iOS 7 for a little while now (I'm a registered developer - this MacBook is running Mavericks, too) and I really like it. I prefer it to Android, if I'm honest but that's probably (mainly) because I rely on iMessages a lot..
Anyway, so far I think iOS 7 is an improvement on iOS 6. I like Apple kit, I would never, ever queue up to buy the stuff, though! :D
I must admit, a good thing Apple have going with iOS is the way they can make it available immediately, I know it's due to the closed architecture, but it annoys the hell out of me how with Android if your device is over 2 months old you have to wait 6 months for the handset manufacturer to test a new OS, then 6 months for your network to ram it full of rubbish before you get to install it.
Popping it on my iPhone 4 now, if it sucks I was going to sell the thing anyway so no loss :D
I think the Apple A7 is more the interesting news:

Downloading iOS7 for my iPT5. Can't wait to check it out!
Upgraded three iPhones and two iPads without too many issues. I managed to start my iPhone update at 5.55 so the download only took about 5 minutes! Yay...
Anyways, as to what's new, I haven't really had a chance to play with the thing yet. I really like the flat look of the new interface though as well as the swiping down and and swipe up info tabs. One thing I didn't like is being asked to choose between British English and English. But I'll say no more about that otherwise I'll just rant!
Did my 4 last night, upgrade failed so restored to iOS7 then restored from my recent backup. Looks ok so far, nothing amazing but we all knew that :)
Updating my wife's 4 now, at least her phone is only 16GB not 32 as mine took forever to restore :(
Did my missus' iP5 this morning and it took only 5 minutes or so. Everything is working as expected so far.
