That price point!
The big disadvantage of RT is you need 32gb minimum. It is about equitable to a 16gb iPad in my experience. However you do have uSD for videos and whatnot.
If they'd included the keyboard or something, it would be a much better proposition imsho.

No ac Wifi support - bit disappointing considering its late 2013
Too expensive for RT I think.
AFAIK it isn't supported in the SnapDragon 800?

Looks like a really nice tablet. But I can't decide if it not having a full size USB port puts me off or not.
You see you say that... But.
For LTE equipped it isn't. If you need such a thing, rather than just hotspotting your phone, I guess that makes a difference, a 16gb iPad is $629, which is about equitable, the Nexus 10 LTE is meant to be about $400, but will lack expandable memory.
Neither have Outlook or Office... However, for that you'll want their case with touchpad thing, so all of a sudden its probably into iPad territory.

Ah sorry that was in context to the 802.11ac question

But it does look pretty good and it's quite thin.
Note 3, s4 both support Wifi ac
In context of how many people who buy routers over £100 then lots. In context of people using free routers supplied by ISP's , very few, but BT Home Hub 5 due December is rumored to support AC, and therefore Virgin and Sky will follow.
So next year lots of people will start using AC wifi - so for a product being launched this late in 2013, it should support wifi AC...
Considering Samsung high end devices do and HTC do too, its should be high on the important list.
AC wifi makes a huge difference in speed and signal strength over N.
Nice piece of kit, but yes.. The price is *not* right!
I think the price is ok, but the OS has no life in it. If it was not the RT model then maybe , but RT is nothing more than a Microsoft con and fleecing money out of people
who don't know what they are really buying.
Good looking tab
How does it compare with the Surface 2? Since this was the product in particular MS wanted to hold back when they bought Nokia, I wonder if it's been sabotaged slightly in the name of making the flagship Windows tablet look better
