Gratuitously violent no-brainer shoot-em-up with 'cult' film tie-in and exploding bodies. I mean...what's not to like?

I doubt it will stay with me as long as the c64 version has.....I can even remember using 2 joysticks when in the helicopter, if you pushed the second joystick in the opposite direction to the first, the heli would fly really fast

I'm going to (with much guilt) admit to enjoying the first one quite a bit. The second did nothing for me - only use I've got for it was as a basis for Hot Shots 2 (a much better film imho). The third, well, better than the second is my potted review.
Funnily enough, for some reason I bought the novel-of-the-film for the third one, and it makes a lot more sense, it's actually a reasonable train/bus/plane read.
Boy, have my standards gone downhill!
PS, if there's a decent discount deal on the game then I might give it a go. But I DEFINITELY want the Weird Al pastiche available as DLC!
