    News - AMD reveals further details and release date for Kaveri APU

    The new APU, capable of 856 GFLOPS, will hit retail on 14th January.

    They need to get to 20nm or lower quickly, Intel being at 14nm and AMD being at 28nm is a major disadvantage.

    That said, I sincerely hope the technology can deliver on the promise because the built in GPU performance looks solid for 1080p gaming.

    Thats the only thing that concerns me now. But it seems like its never gonna happen (AM3+ steamroller)
