Anyone who is seriously thinking of buying one of these can get me a new house first - they'll still have enough money left over to buy an equivalent PC and 3 TFT monitors - I'll even dip into my own pocket to get them a wheel and pedals to play their racing sims with.

Firstly, why would you be mad?
Same thing applies to me if you want a iPad/iPhone etc.
People want what ever they want simple.

What makes you think that?

the car is made from the same kinds of materials a real F1 racer would be made out of; panels made of composite carbon fibre, magnesium alloy wheel rims, Pirelli tyres

Kind of think it is cheaper than it could have been.

Overall you think because you made something cheaper (£10K on a racing setup, I used to do it on £400), others wouldn't need it. I find this strange to say the least.
People buy what they buy, simple, what they want to buy as well.

They appear to have missed off the motion simulator, quite an oversight there for that price.

They also wont be real pirreli tyres ...

Funny thing is though real f1 simulators use a modified version of rfactor with a very basic front end computer.

It's also a shame that the mirrors are in a place that was banned years ago, should of fitted screens into the mirrors and used some of the graphics output to that

I have had a go in one of these type of things using rfactor, I will say it was better than any home setup.

But I wouldn't pay that much for it.

With that perspective, I reckon the screens should be further towards the front as well...

The wheels (BBS) and tires look pretty genuine to me, although not of the current generation...

It looks nice, but its out of my price range and i have no idea where i would put it. Fanatec wheel+pedals and custom pc. All you need for trackmania fun. (Forza too ect)

That assumes the mirrors are for seeing simulated cars behind you, and not for spotting an angry wife trying to sneak up to beat you senseless for spending all that money on a toy car

Edit to add: I guess if you have a house big enough to have spare room for a car somewhere indoors, then you can probably afford a toy like this, and you probably already have a real Ferrari or similar in the garage.

Indeed, this is definitely 'fantasy lottery winnings' territory. I'd have it in red though. Red ones go faster.
