Nice, but unfortunately my work only allows me a 2G plan, which I'm guessing wouldn't work as the "office" SIM. So I'll have to stick with my two phones.
Just had to buy a new battery for my S3, so I'll whole-heartedly agree that having that in HTC phones would make them more attractive to me.
Don't really care about the dual sim, but the SD slot is tempting. Can't see why they wouldn't go the whole hog and let us replace the battery as well since we now need to take the back off.
Still wish the Google Play edition was coming out over here.

I would probably buy one if I could remove the battery. Not having this ability causes problems as all phones I have owned lock up from time to time, so not having this ability makes this impractical for my requirements.
I absolutely love mine. Shame about not having an SD slot though. At least this edition will rectify that.

They should have added the MicroSD slot the first time they released One. I know a couple of my friends would have bought one if that was the case. A little too late for me.
My problem with not having a removable battery is that it's been the weakest part of every phone I have had. Still got an S2 and after 2 years of daily charging, the battery is shot. Ordered a new (official) one off Amazon for a tenner and the problems caused have all been solved after a 10 second swap.
Is the HTC One one of those phones that you can actually swap the battery if you take it apart (like an iPhone), or have they made that difficult too? Seriously considering a One now the excitement and rather mid range performance of the Nexus 5 has bored me enough not to bother.
i have the htc one this would of been a great addition. in regards to battery unsure how u would even change it as its a zero gap design cant see a way into the phone.. there are no screws.. nothing visual to indicate its openable or anywhere u could pry it apart. hmm note to self *dont smash/crack screen*
Ever since the first mobiles came out I've wished for a dual-sim phone!
Amazed its taken this long for a mass produced unit!
