Is anyone surprised that:

a) no-one reads the terms and conditions in a click to accept license

b) something free has a hidden cost

I'm glad that it's being publicised so people are educated, but not exactly shocked.

so would everyone expect its just free without anything in return?!! at least who is going to cover all costs from resources, hosting,....!!

Does the paid version do the same? I'd be miffed if I had purchased the product and it was still on the sly!

I'd rather toolbars do this instead of trashing people's search results and giving pop ups.
