I honestly don't see the point in these cheaper versions - you're getting much worse price/performance ratio.

Again, I disagree. You're much better off saving money and getting the R9 270x or better.

Some people are on a tight budget, others may not be too invested in gaming but still enjoy casually playing.

The only reason for cards like this for me is to have no power connectors necessary. Massive failure, that.
