This should strike fear into the heart of any llama. Their buttocks will continue to suffer in 2014 it would appear.

so glad I use this a lot![]()
Talk of Microsoft getting their grubby mitts on Winamp and Shoutcast? I can't think of much worse tbh...
Forced microsoft account and Skydrive rammed down your throat anyone?
I hope the rumours are true. I've been using the pro version for as long as I can remember - I hope that this doesn't just become a white elephant brand used to leverage it's existing user-base though, although I've no problem with M$ buying it up and integrating SkyDrive etc.
I've been using Winamp for as long as I've used the internet! Be sad if it goes or drastic changes happen to it :/
Does anyone have any suggestions for similar programs incase this one goes to crap?
Not used Winamp for years so I have no idea what Winamp is now, let alone whether something else is similar to it. I've used Foobar for years, but it is anything but user friendly. I know people who use iTune, MediaMonkey, and right now I am trying MusicBee which seems to have won over a number of Foobar users.
Radionomy to buy Winamp and Shoutcast from AOL:

Given one day's notice at HEXUS.net.Now writing for Club386.com
Foobar is pretty good, lightweight and fills the same niche.
