Re: Features - QOTW: What did you get for Christmas?

I got a bottle of aftershave, Moaning of Life Bluray, bottle of Amaretto, Atari 520 STe, SEGA Game Gear and a SNES. The 3 systems came with games and my mum bought me a large bundle of ST games.

I am also getting the UltraSatan external SCSI SD Hard Drive for the ST and an additional external floppy drive in the next week or so.

    Nope, back to 1989 / 1990!!

    http://pic.twitter.com/n8IAwkJeH2

I collect all these old machines and play on them regularly, already have C64 with 2 tape decks & disk drive, Spectrum 128 +2A, Megadrive with MegaCD & Master System adapter and an Amiga 600 with EasyADF compact flash adapter to write the emulator files back onto disk.

What I REALLY want next year is a DeLorean so I can travel back and buy these machines new!!

Re: Features - QOTW: What did you get for Christmas?

I got some nice thick socks,, chocolate, couple of tubs of celebrations, a few oranges, 3 Black library books about space wolves and dwarfs. main present was a Memo HD 7.
    that's about it.

got my sister and dad 8 bags of sainsburys own brand value instant coffee, best before date of November.
someone was chucking them out at shopmob so I grabbed them free presents ftw.

its not the price of the gift, its the thought that counts dad and sister were complaining that I drank all the coffee, so I got them some replacements

More Chilli related products than one man can consume in a lifetime (well ok, a week), Chilli sauces, dried chillis, chilli grinder, chilli vodka and finally chilli gummy bears.

Other than that, booze and enough money to get a new PC desk

I got the EVGA GTX780Ti SC ACX in a manner of speaking, but I might (most likely) have to give this back as soon as the owner decides he is ready for it.
