I too had hoped Samsung would alter the look of the phone. I'm not really too keen on that "rounded" look of the S3 and the S4. The S2 is/was the best looking S series model in my book.

Resolution-wise, I second that it's overkill. One has to consider that more pixels also means more power needed to drive the display, and if there's one thing that's constantly lacking in mobile devices it's power.
