Just popped one of these into another PC as an upgrade. Cracking drive for £60.

there's an error in the survey. Q14 doesn't have a tick box for "other" and ignores anything you write in the text box forcing you to select another option.

Also the way they have limited the options for ranking decision making in buying RAM is going to skew their results. The criteria don't really reflect the way I select/recommend RAM.

That is a mega cheap SSD, and I loved the M4, but the M500 does have an iffy reputation currently. Have FW updates sorted it? In need of a new drive to replace a quickly filled 64GB M4.

Noticed that problem with question 14 too. Was going to select "Other" because I usually buy ECC memory which means there isn't a huge selection to choose from. I wrote my answer for Q14 in the text field for Q13 with a note.

Not had them in to try, just heard a good number of negative stories about poor performance and reliability. I always prefer to do my own testing, and my prior experience with Crucial drives has been exceptional so it may be typical internet naysaying. I suspect with a fresh firmware and install that it'll be a cracking drive - I'll probably buy one tomorrow at this price.

The 'other' category thing is the classic IT-illiterate marketing department mistake. Company i work for does it wrong all the time and we get the questions from irate customers in IT.
