And I'm here stuck on half a MB download :-(
Wooooo but what about my upload speeds? 2-3meg upload isnt decent. But ill gladly take the 50meg down.
According to the checker it's end of March for me. Coincidentally I got a postal mail shot about five minutes ago from Virgin themselves announcing the upgrade. Maybe I should really get around to seeing about upgrading my old v1 SuperHub...
That said, I don't think I'll see any real difference due to the 32Mb/s upgrade - but I suppose the bragging rights are nice.
Always nice to get a bump, currently on 120mb (get around 110 steady).

76mbit down, 20mbit up here with Plusnet FTTC. If Virgin is anything like they were when I last used them then that 156mbit is useless with how much they throttle everything.
Also they really should concentrate on expanding where they offer their services instead, their UK coverage is pretty terrible. I think I've moved house 4 times since I last had Telewest/Virgin cable and none of them were able to get it.
They've already bumped the prices this month in order to pay for it. I'm just waiting for them to decide if they are going to double my speed and give me a superhub so that I can use it, or make me keep my existing docsis 1 modem, which would keep my speed at exactly what it currently is.
Quoth the server... "404"
lol ok virgin if you say so.
you only get 5% of your speed 10% if your lucky before they put you down to 5%.
i get the top speeds here yet only get 3mb maxed out in a 100mb area. yes i know mb/Mbit
I have 60MB and the new superhub 2 (dual band wifi) so this is a welcome freebie. However I struggle to hit 60MB evenings and weekends all day, it can slow down quite a bit. I think it would be better to stabilise their network before playing marketing gimmicks
Do people really 'notice' the difference between 50Mb and say 60Mb ?
I'm currently at 5/6Mb and am getting fibre which should hit 55Mb, the difference to me will be insane & I'd no idea what I'd use 120Mb for
oh wait...'linux distros' - yeah, that's it, all those copies of linux I download daily....
My initial thought was 'Woohoo, all my streaming will be superfast'. Then I realised I do all my streaming on the Tivo since they added Netflix to it, and this has its own 10mb line, so I probably won't notice it much.
I'm on Superhub 2, I download A LOT. Mostly steam games as limited SSD space & a library of 512 games means a lot of switching and from what I've noticed it sits at 11mb/s download all the time which is nice Sounds like I'm a lucky one?!
