Can you buy a gaming PC for that money?

I wonder how well this game will run on this bundle : http://www.novatech.co.uk/pc/range/novatechlifenta25.html

Not really, I mean looking at the benchmarks:

I doubt it would be that good.

It will require a GPU card in order to make it good: another extra £150 or so (depending on what you get).
But obviously with a PC you have the benefit of cheaper games in general, and upgrades and...I'll stop there as I could go on forever XD

I so wouldn't go near an XBOXone with a bargepole With what microsoft wanted, or with the kinect feature. For as say people £100 more or so, you would get a nice rig that could be you so much better.

I could find a better system for £400 than that. Just gotta know where to look. Can the Xbox One access the internet properly with a suitable method of input (keyboard & mouse/ touch screen). There are a tonne of things you can do on a PC you can't on an xbox, making it good value for money.

Plus not having to pay £35 per year for xbox gold live account to use online gaming. So add an extra £35 to the budget...

    This : http://www.novatech.co.uk/pc/range/n...lifenta20.html

I reckon that would destroy the xbox one and actually give you 1080p graphics

PS only using Novatech because its quick to throw together, I'm sure people can do better.

Yes, pay a bit more and get a superior piece of equipment that does more than just be a media box. Consoles are just living room boxes like a Skybox and nothing more really. At least with a PC you can play all of your old games right from the 90s, XB1 has a handful of games, also it relies on game sales or it's dead. A 2006 PC can play Titanfall anyway.

Re: News - Xbox One console sales boosted 96 per cent by Titanfall launch

This argument of which is better is nonsense neither PC/console is better or worse. True gamers have both PC and consoles. Most take consoles as it is easier to setup and play games on, not to mention initial cost. Even though this a true PC/Laptop gaming system will set you back £600-£800 for a base system, remember console and a home PC/Laptop will set you back the same amount (for those who say you can do more on a gaming PC). Even though it is more costly in the long run to run a console due to cost of games (but they can resell the game which a PC gamer cannot do so), most take it due to exclusive games, i.e Forza or Gran Turismo. Those who take the PC gaming route do it because of legacy gaming and the ease of moding a game in all areas. Also on PC games cost much less £25 to the £50+ of a console, and remember the game store (GoG/Steam/uPlay/Origin) sales where games then cost £10, but remember no resale.

So you can pay more get better graphics while paying less afterwards or pay less get good for its time graphics and pay more later. Altogether both cost the same in the end.

Also for all those graphics Nazis, it's not the graphics it's the gameplay, Just look at where south park sits on the list, I bet everyone loved it and wish for a sequel.

Yes. Since the update you can use USB based keyboards and mice to navigate if you really want to.

Since I got my xbox one my newly upgraded PC has not been switched on for nearly 2 weeks as I'm too busy playing Forza and dead rising. Next week that maybe different as I might go back to play Metro 2033 or even CS again depending on what I feel like playing.

Was it really going for £316 this morning then? It says £375 at the moment.

EDIT: Gamestop are doing it now for £369 in the UK
