My picks after going through what I've got installed:
Plume Twitter reader, far far better than the clunky official app.
Chrome, mainly for the super useful syncing
Google Keep, for notes and lists
BaconReader for reddit
Authenticator for 2 factor security...which your using right?
ES File Explorer, for when you need to get into the dirty parts of android.
Field Trip, if your out an about, this can provide some nice little tidbits
Goggles, just because its freaky how much it will recognise.

And if you have a Motorola phone Assist is awesome, can automatically send selected contacts a text when you are busy and has the ability to enable a speific profile when busy as well so no need to remember to put your phone on silent for meetings; it recognises you as busy by linking with your calendar, works perfectly with google calendar.
My pick of the list is Battery Doctor because it has settings to automatically close all apps when the phone locks which is giving me 3-5 days use out of my Moto G. It turns wifi off when signal is low so there is no need to always turn it on and off when you leave home because it does it automatically. It also has the option to schedule times for different profiles to be on so you can have the phone on silent when you sleep to prevent people from disturbing you and go on vibrate for the work day. I tend to only put my phone to sleep in the evening and use Moto Assist to automatically turn the phone on silent for when I have something scheduled in my calendar.
