So you can just have it as a phone technically. lets say you have a bluetooth headset and this watch you could use it a phone only no need for text and stuff right ?

I've often thought smartwatches and phones are the wrong way around.

Put the sim in the watch, leave it as a watch with capability of making a call on its own & via bluetooth
(but no fancy displays etc).

Sell the larger remote displays ("phones") that connect to it via BT to make calls (e.g. ipod touch, phones without sims)
