    News - Amazon strikes exclusive licensing deal with HBO

    I guess I'm glad about this, except I have a netflix subscription so Exclusivity is what caused issues in the first place with HBO content not being available to most and this hurt viewer numbers, so open it up to everybody guys!

    This would be great, as I have Lovefilm which includes Amazon Prime Instant Video (just rolls off the tongue). However, we'll have to wait and see if it's available on the same terms over here...

    Sky has the HBO rights in the UK. so all HBO content in the UK will end up on NowTV probably.

    HBO have been behind some of the best programs ever made... and some of the most highly pirated shows ever made. They need to start giving people what they want at a reasonable price on the most popular platform otherwise slowly but surely they will get left behind.
