Quite interesting, although the whole "lost crucial evidence in a crash" puts a different view on it.
And of all things to go after people for.....I actually watched half the film (couldn't bring myself to go any further!) when it was on Sky a couple of years ago.....it is yet another complete abortion of a film churned out by Uwe Boll.

There is a Far Cry movie?
I ran across a theory that the sole purpose of Uwe Boll's filmic output was to provide a tax write-off for his investors...
From what I have read about it (never even knew it existed before) it sounds like watching this film should be punishment enough for anyone downloading it.
uwe boll, the stuff of legend lmao!
Indeed. Are they admitting they don't have a viable backup plan, if so why not ? I would have thought any lawyers, or whom ever collated the evidence wouldn't risk losing it so easily. Either that or they didn't have any evidence that would stand up in a court of law, and in turn lied (presumably under oath).
My response too - looked up the details and it looks too dire to even earn "C Movie" status. Only upside is that Emmanuelle Vaugier is in it - liked her in CSI:NY. Udo Kier presumably playing his stock creepy dude.
Erm, I was watching Matrix:Revolutions and Matrix:Reloaded a while ago - so what were these* apart from sequels to the Matrix? (* no points for replying "awful" - I'd agree).
Sssshhhhh, it's just bad fan-fic that happens to have been made by Wachowski siblings. Tbh I see V for Vendetta as the 'spiritual' sequal to the matrix
re:OP- Finally, about time there was a victory for sensibility. However bad the movie may have been, the principle of law firms bullying in the name of the studios (often without the studios asking them to) and using illegal tactics is just ludicrous
Knew this will happen, just didn't know it will take this long.
I watched the Far Cry movie a couple of years ago, trust me your not missing anything!
Jon
Oh, trust me it's easily done, look how many games to films have been distasters, Mortal Kombat, Streetfighter, Far Cry, Tomb Raider, Doom, the list goes on
