One source worth reviewing for new Tablets is-- iProTablet - and features six new models to launch in May, including the iFive mini4 ($199) which is the first 8-inch Android tablet on the market with a retina-quality, 2048x1536 display and powered by the new RK3288 processor with high performance comparable to Snapdragon 800.

Also new this week is the Pipo T9 ($277) with an 8.9" full HD display and features comparable to the LG G-Pad 8.3" tablet; plus offers a 3G HSPA+ SIM card slot with Internet and that also makes voice calls like a regular Android phone.

While, that was very badly worded, I think what LG was trying to say was that the range on an average smartphone ( 3" to say 5.5" ) is small compared to the range of tablets (7" to 12" with some now!). And that different size tablets meet different needs.

Either way, it's rubbish advert talk. I just want to see some specs!

I've got the G-pad 8.3 and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Really nice build quality.

+1 ... its a very good tablet and some good deals are often avaialable on it like the recent Tesco one selling it for £119, obviously shifting stock before the new ones launched.
