Much prefer a short text transcript to these (boring IMHO) videos...

It's certainly better if your short on internet bandwidth, although I have enjoyed seeing all the pretty ladies giving their presentations !
Re: Zotac's small-form-factor gaming box shoehorns GTX 860M graphics
Interesting to see how powerful these nettops are getting for gaming!!
Re: Zotac's small-form-factor gaming box shoehorns GTX 860M graphics
Why only dual core?
2 cores isn't going to be enough any more...especially at such a low clock speed, they already do a model with a Quad Haswell (@3GHz) & Iris pro IGP.
To label it as the ultimate gamers mini pc with such a weak CPU is a bit disingenuous IMO.

Definitely agree.

Yeah, I just take the headline/description and look up the details elsewhere. Much faster, and for things with spec sheets easier to compare than trying to transcribe from a video.

These are interesting, maybe one day they'll actually be a viable alternative to the traditional (can I even say that?) gaming rig
Re: Zotac's small-form-factor gaming box shoehorns GTX 860M graphics
I would be tempted if there was a way to upgrade the graphics in future

As you already know, having a powerful graphics card with a reasonable CPU is better than a monster CPU with poor GPU. It's the GPU doing the work, the dual core is fine for this sort of application.
