How is the key rollover? With a mouse added and all that, does it use 2 usb ports in the PC? What color MX switches? (Please add an option for black switches).

Good idea, but it will be too much money for the market its aimed at.

I guess that as Steamboxes are being sold with Windows due to controller delays, it will create a market for keyboards like this.

As far as improvements are concerned:
1: Soundcard so wired headphones can be plugged into it.
    2: cup holder

No mention of the dimensions, my betting is this is wider than my lap so maybe prone to tilting if pushed down on one side or the other.

This thing definitely needs a microwave strapped to the side. And a Swiss Army Knife.

    Gaming laptop.
    Steam streaming.
    No worries.

Reminds me of the Roccat keyboard that you could slot an iPhone into, where it works as a trackpad-keypad-touch display of game/context-dependent extra buttons-[insert dynamic innovative buzzwords here].
IIRC, it fell flat on its face because too many people owned too many different types of Android phone instead!

I like Roccat. I find their products are generally a bit on the naff side for my preferences, but I give them serious kudos for trying and hope they one day come out with some insanely cool stuff!

Great. That just show that this product wasn't meant to be for you, though.

    Also... 're'-claim the sofa??!!
Since when did we have claim enough to lose it?

Sofas are where those football-watching thick-heads sit to wasting their time... Swivel-chairs are the domain of the intelligent computer geeks!!

Re: News - ROCCAT unveils a product to help PC gamers reclaim the sofa

Hmmm see the problem I have is anything that I play with a keyboard and mouse I want to be sitting in front of the screen...

FPS - Twitch & I want to see things very clearly.
RTS/MMO - UI and Tooltip issues. Either resolution=tv size will make everything huge & ugly OR using a UI scale will make everything illegible.

Now the things I want to play on the big TV are console ports, 3rd person action games, driving games, platformers etc... and these all play excellently with a controller.

Re: News - ROCCAT unveils a product to help PC gamers reclaim the sofa

Hmm, I rather enjoyed playing L4D on a projector screen back when I had one. At the time I had to put a wooden (and pretty heavy) laptop table on my lap to use my keyboard / mouse. This could be a more elegant solution, but I wonder about the price. It also look pretty huge to me, it would have been nice if the keyboard could be used standalone without the mouse/hand rest.
