    Saw this
Whining About Instant Video Might Get You an Amazon Prime Discount
and thought I'd better share it. Not at all bothered about the prospect of an Android version of Instant Video, but money off sounds appealing. Okay, this is a US-based story, but if you don't ask, you don't get...?

That's pretty much what I decided to do - leave it in place until the month before renewal and then cancel it. Actually given the feedback here (and for other Prime related stories) I've got to wonder if the message about the poor value of "New Prime" has got back to Amazon management.

As I've said before, if they moved this "New Prime" to a new product - say "Amazon Max" - and kept the "Classic Prime" then I'd be a lot happier. Actually would be content to review my Classic Prime membership, and I suspect I'm far from being the only one.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Prime is slowly approaching something I might pay for, but they really don't stand out in any of their services. Other subscriptions give you catalogs of stuff which just dwarf amazon's services.
